We've borrowed the idea for end grain flooring and are using old pine 2x6s from Community Forklift and slicing them into 3/4" pieces. Then we turned them on their side and glued them to the floor.
We are expanding! As of January 1, 2012 we have begun the process to expand Room 11 into the next door retail space, formerly home to Jeans-N-Things. Follow our progress here and visit us when we open in the summer.
